The Beginning

With four school age boys between the two of us, we were always looking for cool teachers gifts, after many unsuccessful searches we decided that the best gift is always something handmade, so that’s when we started sewing, knitting and cooking up fresh scented soaps and lotions. The boys are now grown-ups! and we still love making one of a kind gifts, which we now sell every Saturday at The Old Strathcona Farmers Market.

Treasure Hunting

What was once a curtain, or grandma’s old tablecloth, is now a funky reversible bag. We are always searching for “treasures” whether it’s a garage sale on the weekend,  a “quick” stop at the local thrift store, or a trip to our local fabric store, our shopping trips are always an experience!

Dresses

Inspired by one of our favorite visitors at the farmers market, the Baby Blue reversible little girls dress was born. Pieced together from random pattens and prints they can be worn three ways! What! less laundry? you are welcome Mom’s!
We haven’t forgotten the big girls either, stay tuned for the same funky style in adult sizes.

Messenger Bags

Sizes vary according to the fabric available, most are reversible, made from various fabric and leather combinations, they have adjustable straps to fit all heights and body types.

Book Bags

These versatile reversible totes come in assorted sizes with one handle or two.

Leather and Suede Bags

Old belts, leather jackets, suede skirts, the pieces of leather that other people overlook, those are the things that we look for when making our leather bags, Branding marks, odd shapes and even the occasional hole all add to the uniqueness of our styles.

Great for school, travel or a day at the beach, our denim lined one of a kind Bandanna Bags are lots of fun for the summer.

Coffee Bags

Made from outdoor fabrics, both durable and washable, they are perfect for market shopping trips.
One of kind and also reversible messenger bag and book bag styles are made from coffee bean sacks from Catfish Coffee one of our fellow market vendors, it’s always fun to check out the funky logos and stenciled writing of the various coffee companies.

A Little Bit About Our Bags

  • FUN: funky colours and mismatched patterns leather, old clothes, fur, you name it we will try and push a needle and thread through it to make a bag.
  • FUNCTIONAL: most of our bags are reversible, so it’s like having two bags in one ideal for changing moods and outfits!
  • ONE OF A KIND: Who wants the same thing as someone else? (not us!) what better way to express your individuality than with a unique accessory.

Bath Products

Our soaps, lotions, bath kisses and salts, body butter and lip balms are made from natural ingredients essential and fragrance oils, always made in small batches which allows us to make numerous fragrances and to maintain optimum freshness.

Scarves

Hand knit we combine multiple strands, multiple colors and textures to make fun and cozy scarves, great Christmas gifts.

Odds and Ends

We also have a variety of wallets, coin purses, makeup bags and gift bags, we are also making face masks
